Hi, can anyone tell me how well Old Glory's "No Man's Land" line of 28mm WW1 miniatures mix with others from Renegade, Brigade Games and so on? I like some of their figures, and want to mix and match with other figures, but want to make sure they look ok when mixed with others. Thanks. |

They are smaller than than all those mentioned, especially Renegade. They aren't so bad sitting next to the Great War ones and Brigade Games. Still it's one of Old Glory's nicer lines. Joey |

I know they mix well with Battle Honors. I have them both in the same units. |

Old glory also mix well with the older Great War range by Wargames Foundry. A few years ago, I sold all my late war figures from Old Glory so i could concentrate on Great War Miniatures. They are really nice figures and mix well with Renegade. Right now, I'm painting early war Brits by Renegade with a few Great War miniatures added for variety. Although the gun are different sculpting styles/sizes, I still feel they mix very well. I'm thinking about getting rid of my Brigade late war Germans, PM me if you are interested and I'll let you know what I have available. -Matt Beauchamp Hydra Miniatures hydraminiatures.com |

I mixed some of the OG WW1 russians in with lots of other mini lines for BOB/RCW project. some pictures here link They're smaller but I find I don't really notice now they're all pianted and based. |

The OG are on the small side of acceptable. Here is a comparison I did of figures with MP18. I cannot see how the old Foundry Great War figs can be considered compatible. Those Foundry figs were state of the art in the 1990's but have been overtaken by the 28mms. They might be acceptable if on a thicker base. link |

I agree with everything that has been said about the OG WW1 stuff. It is a bit small compared to everyone else's stuff. As a side note, the OG French are actually smaller(thinner) than the OG Germans. Having said that I intend to mix them in with some of the other ranges until I can replace some of the OG stuff. I'll probably slip a washer or two under the figures to give them a little bit more height so they fit in a little bit better. |

IMHO they are from an earlier generation and simply don't mix with any of the more modern and better detailed ranges. |

They are smaller than than all those mentioned, especially Renegade. They aren't so bad sitting next to the Great War ones and Brigade Games. Still it's one of Old Glory's nicer lines. I don't have any of the BG WWI minis, but they seem to be compatible size wise with their other ranges. Great War, on the other hand, I have to say appear to be an entirely different scale. I have OG French and Great War German Jaegers, and while they would probably look fine on opposite sides of the table, I wouldn't mix the two brands into the same units based on my experience. |
