Very interesting!

Do you plan to use minis inside the structure? If so, looks like the top bracing might get in the way.

Wow! Look forward to seeing it with the walls in. I think the floor would have driven me nuts, though.

Bill, it's not as small as it might look. Besides, the roof will stay removeable, and there will be no handrails – easy access for gaming is more important than safety, after all.

The height from platform to top is about 4cm, the central hut is about 9,5x10 cm with only one roof beam running across it, the walk around it has a minimum width of 2,5cm.

Gaming under would might be harder.

Neotacha, the floor was a bit fiddly and hard to reach in places, I just took my time.

I have something similar I have been procrastinating on finishing…mulling over the final details sounds better.

I tried Burlap on my models. My advise is to use it sparingly as sub-roofing, or even as netting around the stilts (this looks really cool!). For anything else you might want to cover try canvas. I found some squares of very loosely woven canvas at the fabric store ages ago (in the Knitting area) that worked perfectly. Its a simple matter to loosen the weave as needed and its not as thick as Burlap.

I'll look out for it, thanks for the tip.

Neat project.

Now do a little hut on chicken legs. wink

Very nice project. As things for me in the USA deteriorate, a house like that on Bohol or Camiguin Island looks like heaven!

That's a great project Gungnir! Hope to see it when it is finished!
