Way back in early Jan. I ordered some stuff from BTD. They said it was shipped on the 9th of Jan.

Since then I have made inquiries (as have many others) and BTD said their new workers sent a bunch of stuff surface instead of air.

Well, I received my package today here in Baghdad. There is a sticker on it from Royal Mail that says, "The sender didn't pay enough Airmail postage on this item, so we had to divert it to an alternate service - sorry if there was a delay."

A long time, but understandable.

Hey, BTD, if you have already sent a duplicate package to my home address in Texas, thanks...I will make it up to you in Arab camelry purchases when they are on sale. If you have not, don't, and I will still buy camels.

Thanks.

Funny thing is you're going to get a faster response through here than emailing them direct.

I order at the beginning of February. Does that mean I still have another month of waiting? :|

Coffee Fiend06 Mar 2004 11:40 a.m. PST

My order arrived a couple of days ago. It shipped on January 27 and I guess it took the slow boat to China (ok - San Diego). It had been openned by the Dept of Homeland security (second order to be openned by that agency!). The figures look great.

Hmmm...I ordered some stuff in early Jan and it still hasn't arrived. I hope it gets here before Cold Wars.

You're lucky. Still waiting on mine ordered in early Jan :(

I am also still waiting since Jan. It is a little bit comforting that at least they (Homeland Security) is checking some packages with mysterious contents(lead soldiers.)

I'm waiting on an order placed early in January also. Sounds like it won't be much longer. I hope.

This IS a comforting thread. I ordered during the "big sale" which was spammed by BTD all over these discussion groups, and haven't received my minis. I was afraid it was because I was vocal here against the spamming, and was being punished by Black Tree Design. Can hardly wait for those "newish" Zulus.

I'm still waiting on my order from Jan 30th. I haven't been able to get in contact with BTD about it, but I got my credit card statement this weekend, so I know they got my order an charged me. This is all such a hassle. I don't think I'll be ordering form them again unless someone can convince them to ship UPS. Maybe there would still be big delays, but at least with UPS I could track my package!

Moan moan moan, they admitted they hired new staff and some one sent the post sea freight. They have always sent my orders airmail in the past an im sure they will send them airmail in the future. They had an error, they arent evil or mental so get over it.

Jeeeeez

But it's not like this is an isolated incident. It's a reoccurring problem affecting numerous people. We're just expressing our frustration at a company that can't seem to figure out the concept of customer service. You'll pardon me if I don't think it's acceptable to be charged $100 for an order, never see a package and never hear from a customer rep.

Looks like they are clearing the backlog from their megasale.

I just got my package yesterday which was ordered back in early January. My previous order took only 2 weeks to fly halfway across the world.

Doesn't bother me since their models have been consistently of high quality and you just cannot beat their prices. Plus they didn't bill me till they shipped.

My order arrived second class post in a huge box, yet the miniatures were lumped together in a few ziplock bags with minimal packaging.

Has anyone experienced problems with incomplete miniatures? One of the riders I received was minus half a leg and despite numerous e-mails I have not had a reply.

Got mine finally. Thanks BTD, everything seems to be in order and complete. A few packs came in ziplocs, but that's not unusual from my past experience.

I preach patience. Good things are worth waiting for.
