Had a preliminary read

Looks great and I'll get back to it when I get home. I'm trying to write my own Dark Ages inspired fantasy add on to crusader (unless I remove the Crusader bits and do my own system) and I'll want to read over your magic musings

Good stuff! Well thought out criticisms and seem quite fair and balanced.
Even after reading your criticisms of Day of Battle and LotR I'd still be tempted to try them out just to see the mechanics at work.

LoTR is a great game, pity that GW don't really have a formula published for build your own.

Wow, I actually read all the articles. Very well done and insightful. Sounds like Dwarf Wars would have been good with a bit more work.
