I have recieved a order from Irregular Miniatures which included some Heavy Galla Cavalry. The horses have full quilted armour , can anyone tell me what colour it should be? I have searched the forums and google but drawn a blank. I have posted a picture on my blog
kapitanmors.blogspot.com

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks Mors

Sorry I didn't found any reference for Heavy Galla Cavalry, those in the picture look like Baggara Cavalry from Sudan

Yes your right there, I was just looking at Perrys Sudan range and the armour does indeed look like Baggara

Stick to a solid color. The most likely color choice would be off white, but I remember reading that it could be a salmon pink color. Unfortunately, I don't remember the provenance, but it had something to do with a type of fiber used. I see medium blue pop up here and there, but I have never found a written source to back it up.
