To experience the taste, buy a bottle of one of the western malts (e.g. Laphroig) and stick it in the freezer. Cold and very peaty.

Don't open it!!!!

That's how they stopped the Blob! or maybe it has the remains of The Thing from Another World!

So, is it whiskey or whisky? I'd assume the latter, but anything's possible.

(This piece of TMP pedantry brought to you by the letter "e". grin)

According to dictionary.com, both spellings are correct, although the main entry is the "ey" spelling.

No "E" cos it's Scotch (besides it says so on the side of the crate).

Whiskey traditionally for the Irish varients only please; every thing else is crap!

LOL- j/k everything else is whisky; except American distillers who use both spellings.

They owe it to modern whisky drinkers to recreate the original tipple!

Excuse me! I claim that bottle.

I read this a while back. It's certainly good news. I hope they recreate the blend.
