I have Mutants and Death Ray Guns and want to know about the new rules – Flying Lead.
I always love modern military rules. Should I buy this one?
How the new rules compare to Mutants and Death Ray Guns?

Did you like Mutants and Death Ray Guns?
If yes get Flying Lead.
If No go past Flying lead and do not get it.

There job done.
We liked Mutants and Death Ray Guns so we are getting Flying lead for WW2,2000AD and gang wars . Also going to use vehicle rules in Mutants and Death Ray Guns if we can.

FL will compliment mdrg lots of people who do more shooty type games are going to use the new firing results and the vehicle rules.

As you already have MDRG, you won't have any trouble getting into the rules. The rules changes in FL are easy to grasp (like 3 failures on a morale roll only causing three full moves towards nearest table edge – model is no longer automatically removed), and not numerous.
Lots of new special rules for firearms and characters, rules for medics, vehicle rules (Yeah! Here vomes the last of the V8s! ;-)), a task system – and the price is great!

Yes, I think you should get Flying Lead! :-)

It's 8 bucks, just get it and look it over. I mean it's not like you're buying a car or something…. grin

M&DRG is great. Very much old school Gamma World turned into a quick and simple miniatures game. I'd imagine that Flying Lead focuses more on ranged combat, which I find is a bit light for M&DRG (but fits the setting well).

Yes.

I now have both and they complement each other as well as providing more specific stuff for each area. 5 GBP – you can't go wrong!

Thanks for pointing out it is only $8. USD The cost of 3-4 Figures. I just bought it.

I am switching from Combat Zone to flying lead, It means I'm using Ganesha games for all my 28mm gaming. Combat Zone is still a good game but the elegant simplicity of the Song Of system is brilliant.
