I've just got my copy of the new Flying Lead rules from Ganesha Games. How many of you out there have, or are planning to give these rules a try? I'm planning to use them for WW2 (as well as for modern, sci-fi and late colonial) as I have particularly enjoyed their rules for other periods (Napoleonic – Song of Drums & Shakos, Ancients – Song of Blades & Heroes). They seem to deliver plenty of tactical depth whilst keeping gameplay simple. This is a period I have been drawn to by rules (which is unusual for me), notably Nuts from THW, Force on Force from Ambush Alley and now Flying Lead. Interested to hear others plans or thoughts on the rules if you have played them. |

I have downloaded a copy and am planning to use it for Spanish Civil War and modern horror / pulp games loosely based on 80s TV series. If it's anything like as good as Song of Blades and Heroes it will get a lot of use. |

@runs with scissors For modern horror take a look at thier Fear and Faith rules. They can be used for other time periods also. Covers undead, demons, cultists, crazies with knives, all sorts of horror baddies. |

I grabbed my copy yesterday. I also have two of their other games as well. I haven't tried them yet, but I really like what I have seen from them. Simple, fun to play rules. It even looks easier than GWs LOTR.. and that was a very fun game. |

I'm definitely looking to use them for WWII and very modern, and maybe some early 20th century conflicts. |

I will be using them for WW II. I may extend that to the Franco-Prussian War, and WW I if I get into that era. I am using SDS for the AWI. |

I've got them for modern/near future but they are tempting me to add WWII. Robert |

I'll try them out with Near future ala Combat Zone style games. Just ordered them. Thanks, John |

Does Flying Lead play enough like SoBH to go solo with? I know that even SoBH is not exactly "solo intended", but is "solo friendly". |

Hyper – if you are happy playing SOBH solo you'll be happy playing FL – in fact if you play against defenders who are set up it plays possibly easier as there are fewer choices for the defenders to make, 'Private, if you see something moving
shoot it!' Rich J |

Good to know thanks. Once I see how much the printed book will cost me, I plan to order a copy. |
