Wow, Nice job on the painting with both. The blood looks gory but not "over the top" The werewolf's shading is also nicely done. both figures are decently sculpted, but the werewolf is more fluid. It looks like he's "moving on to a new victim" the missing arm attests to what's left of his last target. I like his bared fangs and claws, I wish his right hand wasn't balled into a fist :( Why is he wearing a chain across his chest? The Vampire's dogtags make the model more interesting. One can imagine how he went about collecting them
OH MY!

Thanks again. Not sure why the sculptor put a chain around the chest like that, dosn't seem like any practical purpose but maybe for artistic reasons. I too wish the hand wasn't balled up. I almost thought of having some entrails hanging from that fist but then found the bitz from the GW Zombies Regiment set. I kept thinking of that sergeant from Dog Soldiers when I was painting it. I've got a SotTR Blitzhund from the Incursion set just about done, finished the inkwash last night, who's a smaller, more intelligent and less feral version of a werewolf. Also just checked on this morning before I left for work my pair of Rholingsoldats. Both of which are on the spray bench getting Dullcoted. These German Ogres from Darkson Designs are carrying an MG42 and a modified double barreled Panzershrek. These models should be up in the next few days. More German Wierdness on the way, Oh My! |

Weird all I get when I click the links is "An Error Has Occurred! Sorry Guest, you are banned from using this forum! " Which is strange as it won't let me click, help or anything? |

I don't know what's going on there, I'll let my Admin guy know about that. In the meantime the pics are also seen in the AE-WWII Forums. link |

Cheers CmdrKiley, I'm sure I was a member a while ago when I was going through an Warzone stage, that's where you put up your martian terrain boards if I remember right?, Obviously "I'm a rebel without a clue", no clue as to how I managed to get myself banned :) |

Must have happed as a result of some cleaning. We've had some spammers and hackers attack us recently and had to review the list of members. Unless you posted something about looking for a date or getting some cheap ED meds, you might have gotten cancelled due to inactivity. |

Very nice work mate. Have you seem the playwar mutant with the flame thrower? i have one to paint myself and it is pretty nice, should fit with what you are doing. |
| CmdrKiley | 09 Feb 2010 7:47 a.m. PST |
yes the Playwar stuff looks pretty good. I'm tempted to pick up some of the Chumans with guns. In one of the fluff stories in the AE-WWII core rulebook, it has a unit of German soldiers getting overrun by Soviet Chumans. It describes some as wildly waving submachine guns around while charging. While I like the Darkson Chumans, the stats don't call for any ranged weapons. However the idea of a horde of human/ape hybrids charging forwarding wildiy firing submachines is just a scary idea. |
