Per the IWM website; Submitted by Mike Noe on Wed, 02/03/2010 – 9:54am. In keeping with our policy of maintaining the size of the "in distribution" BattleTech line to around 400 SKU's, Iron Wind Metals will again be doing it's annual cull to archive of some of the slower moving pieces. This year, we will be discontinuing 46 BattleTech and AeroTech codes and moving them to archive status on Monday March 1st. Items on this list can be ordered as usual until that day. After that, the usual archive fees will apply. Not the Quickdraw! Is that still the lame, arms at both sides model, or have they tarted it up? |

Cap'n Panda could use some more of those Savannah Masters for his fast attack force
cute little guys that they are. |

Is that still the lame, arms at both sides model, or have they tarted it up? AFAIK the old version. Unfortunately, the Quickdraw is also not a popular machine due to some disastrous non-optimization choices when the original TR3025 was published (can't recall if it was in Citytech), choices that didn't actually match the art. I'm convinced the TR entry is a typo, and the art is what was originally intended, but FASA went with the typo for some reason and it became canon

This is why I've always thought it a bad idea to make so many different mech models, the newer ones will likely sell once every one has all of the older models. I had thought about getting some for 6mm games, but because of this the supply has been erratic. I'd be better off just keeping with useing CAV or Heavy Gear mechs for 6mm games, at least they'd be consistent. |

I've never bought the mechs, but the vehicles are mostly pretty cool
go well in games of Dirtside. |
