Anybody know a source for portraits of Spanish Napoleonic generals like Cuesta, Blake, Venegas, Del Parque, Giron, and, well… pretty much any and all of those guys?

(Aside from the famous Goya portrait of Palafox, I haven't had much luck with the Spanish Wikipedia.)

There's a whole catagory on Spanish Generals in the Napoleonic Wars on English Wikipedia:

Quite a few portraits & drawings in the batch. You could also try the napoleon-series.org website under "biographies".

Good luck,
John

Thanks. Not sure how I missed those images on the English Wiki!

If anybody else has images of men like Zayas, Venegas, Del Parque, Giron… I'd be very grateful.

Most of the Bios on the Napoleon Series don't have portraits, alas, and many of the links are old and dead.
