Here is the first of the 6mm armies for Art crime production, sculpted by Ben Skinner called the Makat. This army looks like it is going to rock. Before clicking on the link, you might want to sit down. link |

I can't even tell what it is beyond something humanoid carrying a stick. Robot? Alien? Not-Necron Lord? A Simpsons character in power armor, going by the finger count? I'd have to see more before I could decide whether it rocks or not. |

I'd like to see these when they have been cast! They have a kind of retro sci fi vibe to them with a bit of GW thrown in! Were they designed on a computer or are there actually greens we can look at? I'd like to see the greens before I make my mind up on these! |

The images are CAD designs. Battle Works. You do realize the pictures are for 6mm scale figures. You can only get so much detail at this level. The 15mm versions will have more detail. I believe it is a robotic type figure. Looks like it will be very easy to paint up. Also the guys that are working on these figures have a ton of experience in CAD design. At 6mm scale you sometimes have to exaggerate certain elements so that they will look good in 6mm scale. Look for larger robotic type figure previews coming soon. |

I like the looks. But what will they be used for? |

What will they be used for
WHAT WILL THEY BE USED FOR!!! Why to crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women. |

I believe these are some of the first of a series of models
And Yes, you will see them "in the flesh" so to speak, before they are released with other models in the line, I'm sure. BTW, All I do is 6mm Sci-fi
you'd be surprised by the detail
And what will they be used for, silly question for sci-fi
Frakk'n Alien Android/Robot Toasters, etc., etc.

Glad to see another manufacturer in the 6mm line-up. Do they have a website to visit? I can't find them and no one's blog showing their figures has an address posted for them. |

This thread's got a severe case of necromancy going. Anything ever come out from these guys? |

This thread's got a severe case of necromancy going. Anything ever come out from these guys? Not sure, but I noticed that Art Crime Production's link on the Miniature Review home page has been disabled. You think that might mean something? |

Altius, maybe, but the same site has a review of these and some more on the front page. A change of web hosts, maybe? |
