Hi every one just a quick up date on some new bits on the site today. I have released some new 15mm and 25mm damaged oil drums, and a selection of 28mm intact oil drums. There are plenty more to come over the next three weeks. Everything you see in 28mm, will be available in 15, 20, 25, and 32mm. I will keep you updated. picture picture picture picture picture picture picture link Mike |

Cheers Mike are you going to be doing the 15mm oil drums as piles like you have done the 28mm ones? Are you going to be doing any futuristic Crate as well? |

Man that is a lot of Kegs. :) Great work. |

Yes 15mm oil drums will be finished before the end if this month. And they wll be the same numbers as the 28mm. I plan to do upto 12 in a block, and then doing a couple of double level piles for each scale. I will be doing a mixture of crates, wooden and futuristic style. These will be for each scale as well. I am also working on some shipping containers at the moment and skips for each scale. But these will not be released until the end of March. Mike |

those barrels look remarkedly like some I purchased from another source
even down to the seam where the two halves of plastic have to be glued together
what a coincidence eh? |

YOU NEED TO BE A BIT MORE CAREFUL WITH YOUR COMMENTS. I take it this company you purchased yours from do them in 15, 20, 25, 28, and 32mm aswell do they ? These items have been made for me by a well known vehicle master builder, and I asure you these are my own products. |

Why is there a seam line running up the side of the models? I'm not at all accusing you of anything, just curious. The reason that person shot his question at you is presumably because the seam line makes it look a little like it was cast from something that was originally moulded in two pieces and then glued together. Just explaining that away will kill any whispers. |

YOU NEED TO BE A BIT MORE CAREFUL WITH YOUR COMMENTS. Why? They look like copies of plastic drums i have on my desk, why should i have to be careful querying what appears to be a blatant copy? If they aren't then great, but i dont see why i should be more careful asking about them? These items have been made for me by a well known vehicle master builder, and I asure you these are my own products. That's good then: I am sure that he, or she, can pop along and qualify that they are original works and not copies of plastic drums from a well know kit manufacturer
and why they have seems running up them where the two halves join together. Producing an image of, say, the master would especially help any questions to be resolved. I take it this company you purchased yours from do them in 15, 20, 25, 28, and 32mm aswell do they ? They do HO, OO and N, which covers all the sizes you just listed
again images of masters would help an awful lot. The ripping of plastic-kit parts is sadly common at all scales, and a lot of people assume nobody will recognise them. |

what a coincidence eh? That is slightly more than a question. The simple fact is that the masters have been put in to a mould with some figures, and cast in metal, so that a large amount can be cast , this is easier than doing large amounts of small resin items. Once I have enough metal ones I can make a resin mould holding 20 of each size. HENCE A LINE. They do HO, OO and N, which covers all the sizes you just listed. Three different scales, I have 5 different scales which are all different sizes. I put a lot of time, effort and money into trying to put new products on the market.
Comments like that are not helpful to any small independant company. The ripping of plastic-kit parts is sadly common at all scales, and a lot of people assume nobody will recognise them. NOT BY ME |

Why are you answering him when I think I have asked you a more reasonable question, and one that is easier to answer? Viz, why is there a seam line going up the side of the model? Once you answer that, and I'm sure you can, then the ability of people to bait you about it vanishes. Another good way to do it is simply to post a photo of the original sculpture, so people can see that it was made. |

@thesceneuk I like your products and the direction you are going with your lines. I was going to comment about your TMP name when I caught the text scuffle going on
curious. People tend to forget their manners, if they had any to begin with, when online. It is a matter of internet life. I have been caught up in TMP discussions about comments made by certain members due to misunderstandings of what and how words were used. The fact that mold lines exist on a particular point is not amazing
because having made molds before, there are certain points that make sense to make the break point. Anyway, for the most part gamers are an odd bunch with a few gems and a few piles of poo. Most of us greatly appreciate the efforts of small miniatures companies. So keep up the good work and when you step in poo just wash it off. No point in yelling at the dog, it will not understand anyway. As for the TMP name, Thesceneuk always catches me off guard as an American indian name
Thesceneuk of the Mohawks or Blackfeet :) Carry on my friend
it is what is. |

Some pics for you. You will see one of the barrels along with a selection of Ammo crates and boxes, for 15mm and 25mm. You will also see a case for a missile launcher, also in 15mm and 25mm. These items will also be available in time for 20mm , 25mm , and 32mm. picture picture As for the creases you can see, the masters were put in to a mould along with some figures. That was the easiest way to get 50 of each size for me to make stacks with. Metal moulds are in two pieces , in the same way you will get flash on some of your figures. I guess I did not clean them up enough. Ive included some of the ammo crates and boxes, because yes they are to scale. The same scale as many others. So they will look similar to others. So may be I wont get similar comments when I release them in a few weeks. |

There, that worked out well! I think the problem was, you had the bad luck to have the mold line in the same spot that some styrene models have a join-seam!!! (Don't mold lines usually stick out though instead of looking like a panel line?) Well, very responsive, all the best to you!!! |

Thank you 28mmMan I should not get uptight about it. But sometimes it can not be helped. I have no problem with people commenting on my products you can not please every one. If you do not like any thing I produce thats fine. If you think I can improve something tell me, I will always do my best to accomodate. But please dont acuse me of ripping off someone elses products. Mike

I just placed a good size order last week for barrels and was wondering about the missing crates(the category is barrels and crates). Now that I see the pictures I am really wondering! They look great, when will they be available? Thanks Dan |
Thesceneuk | 09 Feb 2010 4:02 p.m. PST |
Hi Dan The few I have at the moment will go in the next mould , which I hope will be this weekend, with the new special agents. I will make up some small packs with these. I am estimating to get most of them done over the next few weeks, and on sale in about Four weeks. I still want to get about 6 different sizes for each scale. The sooner the better. I will change the site so it only says barrels. Mike |
| BigDan | 09 Feb 2010 4:58 p.m. PST |
Hey Mike, No reason to change the site, just let us buy the crates :) I will be checking back next month. Regards Dan |

Will pick up some of the 15mm and 20mm ones
Thanks for offering these! |
