I am thinking of a scenario of WW2 forces vs. war of the worlds. Now I am trying to decide what version of aliens to use. Walkers or ships or maybe both. I am leaning to the ships like from the classic movie. But might need a ground force. Anyone have any suggestions Adam |

Why not go with the original tenticled type of alien from War of the Worlds? What scale are you looking for? Brigade Games has them in 25/28mm (Scroll down past the rules) link And Black Hat/Scale Creep has them in 15mm link |

We manufacture Bob Charrette's Parroom Station range as listed above. Lots of gems throughout the range. |

The 'ships' from the original movie were walkers
they've got long spindly legs that are invisible energy projections but show up in a couple of scenes where they're under attack. I'd go with the Martians from the old movie
they were creepy and malevolent despite looking really weak physically. |

That is a great idea. I actually did a set up in my back yard a few weeks ago of HaT Industrie World War One Americans and French against the 1954 WOTW movie war machines. Pegasus Hobbies makes the war machine in both 1/48th scale and 1/144th scale. I use the 1/48th scale version with 1/72nd scale troops and it looks fine to me. Twilight Creations makes Martians that look a bit like those from Mars Attacks and they make good infantry for the War Machines. link Here is a link to one of the photo sets. There are more, look for the Pegasus labels. Mike "Bunkermeister" Creek bunkermeister.blogspot.com |

The Pegasus models are what started the idea. The scale is 28mm. Just the way we have been gaming with rules is need some type of infantry unit or it will be an all vehicle battle. Where the ships are class as a tank. Still might combine both Of course in my scenario the Earth also has walker type vehicles. Adam |
