Anybody from the Sci-Fi, Old West, or Pulp groups going to run a game at Cold Wars? I assume that as usual Mexican Jack will. Anybody else?

Pictors Studio05 Feb 2010 8:53 a.m. PST

I'll be running one if I can get the time off to go to it.

Doctor Merkury05 Feb 2010 9:29 a.m. PST

I'm going to be running 3 games for Where Heroes Dare!, each a Chapter in a 3 Chapter Story. The games start in Delphi, Greece then to the Great Wall in Northern China, and the final showdown beneath the Wall in the Lair of Kong Fang.

I'm running an "Air Fleet Battles by GASLIGHT" game. I'm also running two "Look, Sarge, No Charts: WWII" games.

F-409 – Air Fleet Battles by GASLIGHT
Fri. 7:00 PM, 3 hrs, 6 players
GM: Chris Palmer and the HAWKs
Victorian Science Fiction 1/1200, Rules: Fleet Battles by GASLIGHT
Mars 1890. German airships are massing for an attack on the British hanger facilities at Kal'nar. Will the British air fleet on Mars be caught at its moorings, or will they be ready in time to stop the attack. A last round playtest for the GASLIGHT air fleet battles rules.
Children under the age of 14 only with a playing adult.

I will be running AWI Teddy Bears for kids and 40mm Sharpe's Rifles using Legend of the Old West. Basically recycling two games I have done before.

I didn't see that listed Rich. Is it in the PEL? What number?

OK. I see it now. The following day's 8am schedule is on the same page and that threw me off.

Are you dividing the players minis into teams? What will the factions be?

I'll be running two pulp/wierd war II games:

F-117 – Fall Purpurrot (Case Magenta) – The Nazi Conquest of Ruritania, Sept. 1939
Fri. 7:00 PM, 4 hrs, 12 players
GM: Jeff Wasileski with Nick Wasileski
Pulp 28mm, Rules: Astounding Tales!
When aged King Ruprikt of Ruritania joined the Allies in declaring war on Germany, he never thought his small nation would be the place where Hitler would test his Super Science weapons. All that stands before this onslaught is Ruritania's brave but antiquated army, the folklore of her dark forests and the mad genius of Nikola Tesla. World War II was never so weird!
Children under 14 welcome with a playing adult.

and

S-118 – Operation Fluffy Devil – The Liberation of Ruritania, Oct. 1944
Sat. 1:00 PM, 4 hrs, 12 players
GM: Jeff Wasileski with Nick Wasileski
Pulp 28mm, Rules: Astounding Tales!
The Axis is crumbling. In occupied Ruritania, the SS make a last desperate attempt to save the Reich by freeing the dread Flaumig Teufel from its weird science bonds. The only problems they face are a partisan uprising, vicious Soviet rivals, enemy rocket patrols, a blood and guts American general looking for trouble, errant GIs trying to steal gold, and that most feared OSS agent, Julia Child.
Children under 14 welcome with a playing adult.
