Wow, I just saw a link to this on the Lead Adventure Forum, one of the most elaborate and beautiful terrain pieces I've ever seen:

link

It's a couple of years old, but I haven't seen it before! Hopefully it's new to a few of you folks, too.

WOW! That's remarkable. Thanks for posting it Alex.

Thanks for the link, Alex. This piece pretty much makes me sick with envy. When I saw Rivendell in LOTR I figured no one would be able to make anything close to the architecture to game on… until this. Such precision, such planning and attention to detail and structure. His other work makes me weep. Check his other fantasy works by deleting everything after the .de/ in the above address.
(Sorry, can't seem to get paste working just now.)

It is wonderful, just wish I had the storage space for it…

well… That's a genuine work of art. And I'll be thinking twice the next time I want to slice up some foamcore and cardboard.

Wow. He must work for a movie studio or something. No way a person has that much free time.

Some stunning scenery there ,good find. The elf terrain seems to be the hardest to make in style and feel but this fella has captured it.
The simple (not to make though)things like the roof tiles and the arches are great aswell.

Makes it look so easy ..

WarWizard04 Feb 2010 6:00 p.m. PST
