Hi planning out my WWII French for BKC, and was wondering if anyone does suitable Motorcyles in 15mm. I am happy to fudge a bit, but I am struggling to find anything suitable at all. Pat |

What are your requirements for suitable? |

FoW does some motorcyles
. at least some with german riders. (i.e. highly suitable for French!) |

Old Glory Quality Castings does French motorcycle combos and singles, but be warned that the combos are difficult to assemble properly. Rod Robertson. |

Allen et al, Can you suggest a good base model to begin my scratchbuilding of the Belgian tri-cars? link |

Anleiher, if you're willing to accept a Motoguzzi as "close enough": link Eureka supplies the Italian equivalent with or without rider (if "with", a head swap is easy enough). Allen |

German trailer for 2cm flak may be a starting point. Just add motorcycle . . . and a bit more fiddly stuff. link |

See, I don't understand why the French get a bad rap as cheese-eating surrender monkeys, when you have Belgians just calmly handing an awesome piece of machinery like this over to the Nazis: picture "Plucky little Belgium" or "mussel-eating surrender monkeys"? Allen |

Oh, and by the way, in case nobody mentioned it before, Qualiticast or somebody like that does cheese-eating surrender monkeys on motorcycles. Allen |

Can you suggest a good base model to begin my scratchbuilding of the Belgian tri-cars? It might be easier to just wait for QRF to do it
. (Also note that they didn't replace sidecars in combat squads, but rather were used for the admin tail; mechanics' vehicle, fuel carrier etc. in the squadron and regiment's B echelon.) Coming soon (in time for Salute, hopefully)! If there is a vehicle that you particularly want, let us know and we will see what we can do! THE LIST – So far we have the masters for: KFV 1 ACG 1 KFV 2 CP47 Type 13B2 KFV 3 CP47 Type 13B3 KFV 4 Type 15 KI 1 Line Infantry KI 2 LMG Teams KI 3 Boyes ATR Teams KI 4 Command KI 5 Grenadiers KSW 1 HMG Teams KSW 2 81mm Mortar Teams THE PLAN! – we are considering including: Minerva A/C; Chenillette; Ford-Marmon Herrington; Type 38 GMC; 75mm Mle GP III; FRC 120mm; FRC 75mm ISG; RFC 47mm ATG; TriCar; FT18; Chasseurs Ardennais. |

PS – Allen, presumably you're thinking of the Quality Castings ones from Old Glory 15s? I'm amazed nobody's mentioned them already
. |

Thanks, guys. Yes, Allen I am in the "close enough for government work" school. Dom, I think I will just wait for QRF. |

FoW will hopefully have their Early War range out soon. I don't like the rules, but the models are good. Fingers crossed for French dispatch riders, I want them too. I can sympathize with Arga Warga. Whatever scale, whatever rules, I play French or Free French, and find it very hard to find exactly what I'm looking for. |

"Whatever scale, whatever rules, I play French or Free French, and find it very hard to find exactly what I'm looking for." A man after my own heart. |

It's nice to know that there's other people who play as France out there. By the way, I'm not a man yet- I'm 15. I think I must be one of the few teenagers who prefers Historical gaming rather than GW fantasy! |
