Does anyone know if this venture has been successful??
Victrix mentioned they will add to this range if it proved successful i believe the first box set was an experiment to see the demand any news would be good as i am maybe looking at expanding mine.

Hi Challyrun40,

We did announce on TMP before Christmas that we are starting the French voltiguers and Grenadier sets in 54mm in January. They should be out around April time. Nothing on the website yet as nothing to show.I will put up a news item later this week for those who missed it on TMP and in Military modeling.

Steve. (Victrix Limited)

Many thanks Steve i can remember seeing an article on expanding the british set with ensigns etc. Is this still a goer or are they being aimed more at skirmish roles??

Hi,

We still plan on the expansion bits but we got bogged down with work on the other 28mm sets and planning the French 54mm tools to have time to concentrate on the exopansion pack. They will come out but taking a bit longer than we innitially thought.

Regards,

Steve.

The Tin Soldier in Sydney brought in about 20 boxes of the stuff. I thought it would never sell in a million years (the 54mm stuff).

I was wrong. Flew off the shelves it seems.

That's nice to hear.

Ganesha Games has a new rules set out "Song of Drums and Shakos" which covers napoleonic skirmishing. It has gotten popular and they have already come out with suppliments to add to the soldier options. This new 54mm stuff sounds perfect for their games!!

No, But I'm sure someone on the Napoleonic painting board could tell you in short order.
