If you haven't had a chance to check out the Italieri Sherman MkII 1/72 Quick Kits, do so they make a nice addition to your allied armor force. Very nice kit, I put it together in 20 minutes |

Much more detail, love the fact that they offer the "British" gear box for the turrets giving them a much better non-American look and assembly was a snap |

I love their Panthers, quick easy and re3ally solid, some of the Hat shermans are showing their age, being amongst the early releases. |

I did not even know they had released one – the new Italeri website seems to be even worse than the old one. |

Hi Guys These kits are actually very good if you look past the tracks, and are fairly accurate for a Early Mid production M4A2, The real beauty is that while you are paying for two quick build Italeri Boxed kits you actually get a Model that is based on the DML Sherman three kit, it does have some issue like the tracks and missing bits, closed hatches etc, but all in all a very useful sherman model. The other real draw back to this kit is the very poor box artwork Italeri have used, it looks nothing like any British scheme I have ever seen on a Sherman. I am currently writing up a review of these for my web blog at weefriends.blogspot.com I have th basic text done and just need to sort out some photos then will get it uploaded hopefully later on this week. I realy cannot recommend this kit enough. Cheers Ian |
