Is there any glue that really works for holding together parts of MageKnight figures?

For instance, I have this guy with a cape, and the cape keeps falling off…

I use the stuff from Walmart in the craft section. E-2500 I think the name is (I'll have a look sometime for it, it's been a bit). It's $2.50 USD for a larger tube (maybe 4 oz.) of the stuff. I think it's more an epoxy than glue, but it seems to hold really well over time. Very mild smell. I've used it on dozens of figures – it is a bit fiddly on smaller parts, but it does work.

I just use super glue with no problems.

Super glue works for me also. I've mostly used the thin consistency, but the thick should work also.

Try mixing Baking Soda with some liquid (not Gel!) Super Glue, 1:1 ratio by volume. You will have maybe 10 seconds to work with the mixture. Got this from Adam, off of "Myth Busters".

Overall, Super Glue, by itself, has very little sheer strength, so twisting of parts glued with it, can break the bond. Super Glue is fantastic for sticking parts together where the pull is perpendicular to the plane of the surfaces joined, however. Cheers, Bill!
