Is there are set of rules that cover at what if scenario of an alien invasion during WW2? I believe there is at least one, but for the life of me, I can't remember what they are called. Anyone help out someone having a senior moment? |

HOTT (Hordes of the Things) covers nearly everything
including an army of seniors. Sorry, but that is the nature of the beast. If you can dream it, you can create an army list and your opponoent most likely will not bat an eye. Cheers, Robert |

Death Rays of War is a quick set of rules for adding alien invaders to Flames of War. |

danmassey.com/?postid=20 is the link for it kyoteblue. I read thru them, I'm just not a huge fan of FoW. A good read though. |

Nice mod of FoW there. The Warriors are particularly amusing. Harry S. Truman on the table at last. |

I could name a few rules that in no way represent WW2 as practiced on planet Earth
;) |

well, yes I am sure you could. Also most other periods have at least a few sets that dont do a very good job at represenmting the period they are supposed to. And of course there are the rules that some think do a great job and others strongly disagree. |

I think Turtledove had a series on the alien invasion during WWII. Their scouts had arrived during what was the bronze age and reported the place was a pushover. When the combat fleet arrived, it was a different story in 1942. Most dangerous word in English: Oops. Most dangerous word in alien-speak: Oops! |

You are talking about Turtledove's Worldwar Saga series of 4 books and the Colonization series of 4 books so far. I have read the first 6 books and am currently reading the 7th. I have really enjoyed the series. And IMO would be great scenarios to game. Robert en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Worldwar |
