He'd be hopelessly obsolete by now!

Coyotepunc and Hatshepsuut22 Jan 2010 9:29 p.m. PST

Given his rep around here, I would have to classify him as a King Tiger…

vtsaogames22 Jan 2010 9:33 p.m. PST

I'm a tiger. My year is almost here.

Regardless … I don't know John well at all. But I'm guessing … A JagdTiger or Maus … With a real bad attitude … evil grin

According to Flames of War, I would be slow and unreliable.

Didn't Battlefront publish stats for him in The Midwar Monsters supplement?

goragrad22 Jan 2010 10:24 p.m. PST

He would be a 'paper' tiger.

Jakar Nilson22 Jan 2010 10:30 p.m. PST

He'd be silent and locked up in a museum…

ComradeCommissar22 Jan 2010 10:32 p.m. PST

He'd the worlds first heavily armored sedan chair!

28mmMan22 Jan 2010 10:37 p.m. PST

Quite possibly the most inane thread ever…what drugs were you on when constructing this topic…seriously.

wow

aercdr22 Jan 2010 11:36 p.m. PST

What if Churchill was Elvis?????

Mal Wright Fezian23 Jan 2010 12:02 a.m. PST

He would need a lot of Panzer Grenadiers to carry his heavily armoured Tiger sedan chair!

The G Dog Fezian23 Jan 2010 8:08 a.m. PST

He'd require a lot of restoration to be considered a 'runner'.

aecurtis Fezian23 Jan 2010 8:18 a.m. PST

"Quite possibly the most inane thread ever…"

If you believe that, sir, then you simply have not been paying attention.

Tommiatkins23 Jan 2010 8:45 a.m. PST

He would have a Porsche Turret.

anleiher23 Jan 2010 9:21 a.m. PST

Stylish, imposing, and capable of striking fear into his opponents….

Yes, I can see the analogy.

"What if John the OFM was a Tiger tank????"

Gas guzzler. Over-weight. Over-engineered. Slow moving.

The only good points are thick armour (useful for TMP exchanges!) and a big cannon (hello girls!).

Is this really how we see The OFM? evil grin

If John was a Tiger, right now there would be a public appeal to pay for maintenance and repair

There would be thousands of little John the OFM Tigers on wargame tables worldwide

The John the OFM Tiger would be the only World War II tank that 80% of people could name

Admired by many

Feared by many

Say – this doesn't sound so bad!

Rich Bliss23 Jan 2010 11:12 a.m. PST

I'd pick the Lady every time.

Is this really how we see The OFM?

It's what I see in the mirror every day.

As for maintenance and repair, my ankle is bothering me a little today…

richarDISNEY23 Jan 2010 4:58 p.m. PST

And if Murphy was a Sherman, it would take five of him to knock out John. (Of course, Allen would be a Hawker Typhoon.)

CmdrKiley25 Jan 2010 9:12 a.m. PST

He'd be GRRRRRREAT!

and part a nutritious breakfast too……

"What If John the OFM was a Tiger?"

He would have gone to North Africa as a youth and not come back?

Surely this thread is nowhere near the most inane ever. But maybe we need a poll ?

The most inane thread ever on TMP was :

John the OFM is a tiger tank
Napoleonics are real good and fun to play and no-one ever argues
Plastic figures are better than metal
Metal figures are better than plastic
Fimo figures are better than plastic or metal figures
Role playing games are better than life
Life is better than role playing games
20mm is not a scale
….Games Workshop….anything …anything
Do you like pie ?
Is Zardoz a god ?
Not a wargamer
Don't read TMP threads

Have I missed any ?? (oh, about 10,000 threads you say)
