We have just started the process of playtesting the Polemos Colonial rules. If you are interested in helping with this process, please PM me. 'Front Rank Fire' is the work of Peter Riley and works on the basis that one base represents a single company. 'Only Our General' is Chris Grice's handiwork and deals with larger actions where one base is roughly equivalent to 500 men. The aim will be to present both rules sets in the same booklet allowing players to play actions at whichever level is most appropriate. The rules will suit any size of figure and are very flexible in terms of existing basing. Cheers

I personally like the four feathers scenario from the old movies where the idea is to hold out as long as possible. As I recall, it was a single company. All I'm saying, is that at 6mm, it might be possible to provide a very interesting game using less figures on a very small battlefield, at a 1 to 1 ratio, with very few stands. |
