Following requests on this forum, I asked the sculptor to think about creating a 6mm version of the 15mm Simians.

Here are the results:

The mini Simian is around 12mm to the top of his head. He is supposed to fit in with hmmm… 6mm minis… :D

Really nice figure Piotr. Would also be suitable for 10mm gamers.

Cheers

Thanks Jeff,

I fixed the original links.

Mark, I am also thinking of a possible use as undersized / young apes in 15mm gaming.

Coyotepunc and Hatshepsuut09 Jan 2010 5:36 p.m. PST

I was thinking of the undersized/juvenile thing for 15mm as well.

JRacel09 Jan 2010 5:51 p.m. PST

While both sizes are really nice, In some ways I like the smaller guys more for use with 15mm troops than the larger ones. Will have to think about what might fit in better with my forces.

Very nicely done. So the 6mm simian is in fact 12mm?
Another question- how big (not what scale) are the figures with the spear and sword? The detail is really great.

Pole Bitwy PL09 Jan 2010 6:15 p.m. PST

Acharnement: The Orc boss with sword is 7mm to the eyes while the Orc with the spear is 6mm to the eyes. Sculpted by another sculptor as a fantasy range.

I like them at 12mm for 15mm opponents, very nice looking model with lots of detail.

Piotr, what is the 'monk' figure?

Cheers
Mark

Pole Bitwy PL10 Jan 2010 9:02 a.m. PST

Mark, the 'monk' is just one of four archetypal human cultists. 17.5mm typical height

All four with the Not-Deep One / Aquaman sculpt:

Thanks Piotr I missed the original thread about them. Got to say, Adam sculpts good faces in 15mm.

Where can you buy these and other Pole Bitwy figures?

Pole Bitwy PL11 Jan 2010 5:35 a.m. PST

MWright: The minis will be available this month. Please send me your contact email address to sztab@polebitwy.pl so that I can inform you of the opening of the web shop.

Legion 4: I meant could you post the link to the information you posted on Tac Cmd here on TMP please ? It appears my search was fruitless there :D

I agree with small 15mm rather than 6mm, which would see them outweigh a troll. Make a good armed chimp.

The ones I use for Orgons (from Scotia) are about 8mm high and dwarf a standard GZG trooper. Scotia's insectoids are about that size and I use them as individual "walkers".

Thanks Legion 4 :)

They really would look good in 6mm though. I'd even setle for 7mm but the current sizing is just to far off.

Well at 12mm they are about the size of an G/W Epic Scale 6mm Ogryn Abhuman … which is actually 10mm or so … Here's a pic of an Ogryn Body Guard on one of my 6mm Cmd stands … picture But that being said, the Apes could be smaller than 12mm too …

Saw a show again on the History Channel about a Giant Prehistoric Ape, called Gigantopithicus(not sure of the spelling ?) Well he/it was as tall as a one story house, so like 10-12 feet tall !! BTW … any Ape 6mm update ?

Pole Bitwy PL14 Jan 2010 1:50 p.m. PST

Legion: The sculptor is working on them. I have a meeting with him in a few days and will discuss a smaller ape variant.
