Does anyone have pictures of Peter Pig's Mexicans (from their Wild West range)?

peterpig.co.uk/range15.htm

Hopefully, with large sombreros and ponchos.

Either that, or I may need to make sombreros and ponchos to some Rebel Minis' Greys, to get something like this:

No pictures but I have 24 of them with 1 mounted, 1 dismounted and 1 casualty each for Western skirmish. They are in what are clearly in sombreros but of only moderate size and other than one of the specialty figures, I don't recall any ponchos.

No ponchos? Hmm.

Does anyone else out there make "small" 15mm stereotypical Mexicans with sombreros and ponchos?

Thanks.

I expecting an order of 15mm Mexican irregulars from the OG MAW series. These are with sombreros, but I am not sure about ponchos. I shall have to wait next week.

In either case, I was planning to add rolled up cloaks and vests to create variety for my Llaneros.

Ponchos, using Body Putty, would not be hard to make.

Cheers,

1) I was hoping to start with a "short" (true?) 15mm Mexican figure and just modify the head to look like that of a Grey.

2) However, now that I think of it, the idea of just adding a Mexican hat and poncho to an otherwise naked Rebel Minis' Grey seems better still:

So, should I go with option 1 or 2?

Can anyone describe what the Peter Pig Mexicans with dynamite pack looks look like? A picture would be even better.

Option two would offer variety. You could have the sombreros held to their chests, in one hand, multiple options. Ponchos could be rolled up and draped over a shoulder and not necessarily with a Clint Eastwood look.

Ok. I know I have a lot to smooth over, but how are these guys looking so far?

Thanks.
