Tom at Miniature Review has posted a review of one of our two new bug holes in 15mm scale on his site. The one he has posted is the shaft of an abandoned mine, with its cribbing in decay and the ironworks cut down from its concrete foundation.

There's another one as well which is a bug-made hole.

Considering that I make space demons, parasachnids, giant ants, and other large creepy crawlies, I thought I should make them some place to spill out of too. grin. These can serve as objectives (nuke the bug hole), entry points ("they're coming up out of the ground, sarge!"), Strongholds for HotT, or just scenery.

They are made of white metal, and are pretty heavy! This so they won't skitter across the table if your hand brushes against them during play.

These should be available in a few weeks, once painted for display.

I do like the weight of these pieces. Normally I don't like heavy terrain, but as Jon says they will not move around on the table. If you want something fun and different, these are it.

Having got one as a free-be with my last order I have to say I was most impressed with it as a marker or paperweight grin

If you need these pay the money – much better than you could knock together yourself.

You could even use them for tunnel markers for Skaven.

What are the dimensions. I might want one for 28mm.

On the bug-made bughole, the hole is I think around 12mm diameter. The shaft is a bit wider, say 18 to 20mm? Just from memory though. The base itself is quite a bit larger on both pieces.
