I've got some Critter Commando Frogs that are asking for a vehicle. I've got a page with some of my pictures here: link Sorry, it is a bit messy, put together some time ago quickly to show off some things. I had to remove the link to pictures of the frog infantry, because they were on geocities, and I need to recreate the page. I'd be interested in a walker, wheeled, or grav vehicle. Nothing too much like a normal tank. I'd consider paper, conversion from figure or toy, even scratch building. I don't think any of GW's vehicles do it for me. I've thought about converting a plastic model of some kind of modern wheeled vehicle (I found a couple, but no good pictures). I found a paper model that I liked (see Jitterbug here: link ), but it keeps falling apart. I liked the old Void Tiger APC, though I imagine it is hard to get hold of. I've poked around the Grendel site. Maybe I should just load more frogs on the "boat" in my link above. Now that I think about it, I should look around again at paper vehicles. A ton of things have been created. I just don't want something falling apart after I do a lot of work. Suggestions? andy |

Here is one of the models I was looking at. It may be too small at 1/72. link And this doesn't look like what I want, but the name seems appropriate. link andy |

I don't see Frogs using a Walker. A Puddle-Jumper perhaps

Wow, that's neat. I want to avoid being _too_ goofy, but I've got frogs. They are going to be goofy. I'll keep that in mind, thanks. andy |

Hmmm, I imagine they would be riding large salamanders, which are pressed into service as mounts for their cavalry brigades. Tiger Salamanders would work perfectly, and the frogs should use lances. |

I didn't think I wanted hover vehicles (as opposed to grav), but that GZG vehicle is nice. I should poke around some more with that in mind. However, the frogs are bigger than 15mm. They are a good bit shorter than my son's Stormtroopers (the current battle, still set up on the table at home), but still in the 25mm-30mm scale. The cloud car is probably too much of an air/space vehicle. I would have said Slave 1 was, too, but there is something about its shape that appeals to me. thanks, andy |

Check out the Star wars mini's game for cool, CHEAP stuff. For example, link is AWESOME, huge, and kinda has a frogish look. also, link link link the ISP speeder in plastic is cheaper, and much easier to convert. link |

I offered to trade something to my son for that Viper droid, but he wouldn't do it. :) He's got that speeder for his Stormtroopers. I should look for others, though. I'm tempted by a scout car on the Old Crow site, but I'd want something a bit more futuristic. thanks andy |
