I have a 25mm M3, but it is small next to my Artizan Designs figures, and I have some Tamiya 1:48 German half tracks which are about right. Are there any good M3s in larger scale out there? Thanks, Synjin |

I have about 10 Solido Halftracks. Theyre awesome and with some extra stowage look outstanding! You can get them relatively cheap and you dont have to cringe everytime the clutz of the gaming group puts his gnarled up talons all over your vehicles! HIGHLY recommended |

Try Corgi's in 1:50 scale. Victory Force Minis next to them in this link |

I second the Corgi M3 halftracks. They're the most detailed available at a fairly reasonable price. |

Lon, Where were these when I ordered the Artizan stuff a couple of weeks ago! Guess I need more figures. Synjin |

Synjin: I "thirds" the Corgi and they are a metal body so VERY sturdy, I also believe the ones at Brigade are 1/56th and not 1/48 – 1/50th. Here are some I have found (I saw some on ebay going for about $7.00): link link auction auction Solido also makes one: auction Hope that helps Warlord |

I have 3 Corgi and 1 Solido M3. I think the Corgi's are nicer models, especially if you want to use them almost straight from the box without having to to fix them up a bit. The Solido needed a bit of work (weathering, painting bare metal bits, stuff like that). |

Solido or Corgi, I prefer Corgi because I don't like Solido tracks all that much. But I have vehicles from both in my collection, they match up pretty well with my 1/48 models. |

I would like to add a different point of view,I agree Corgi is the Best and Solido is also good considering they are from the Seventies, what I do is to use them in their original condition as they are really collectors items in the future,to repaint is usually left for old run down, broken models from Solido mostly those as they are really old. Kits are also used from old brands like Bandai,Frog etc. 1/48 is really close to 1/50 so many manufacturers do make these in both scales,1/43 also exists from Giocatoli,in my opinion these are really nice but the size is off course bigger, and so not so good for 28mm or 1/48 soldiers. Although I have many 1/43 vehicles like Kubelwagens,Mercedes,VW,jeeps,Dodges,Opel Blitzes
I could go on and on
1/43 is also great in terms of soft skins,in terms of tanks I only have Russian BT´s. wargames48.blogspot.com |

Thanks all. I ended up getting the half-tracks from Brigade Games. They are great! They're about right next to my 1:48 Tamiya German half-tracks, and they look great. I got them yesterday and already have one put together. I got them specifically for use in To be Continued by GASLIGHT games. Can't wait to get it painted for use by the US Department of Experimental Design (DED). Thanks again, Synjin |

Better than the 25mm M3 I got this summer. But they do look good with the mostly Artizan figures I've been using, and they should look good with the Westwind Secrets of the 3rd Reich figures that I've got as well. They are a bit small next to my Tamiya Sd.Kfz. 251 but good with the Sd.Kfz. 250. Synjin |
