I haven't been able to pull up the Xyston website for a month now.

Did I miss some news or is something fubar'd on my end?

Works fine for me: xyston.com

I was all over it today, in fact. Great pictures of the figures. I wanted to see if the Thessalian cavalry had the little "sombreros". :D

Well, nuts. It's something messed up on my end. I can now view it on my phone, but not my home computer and that's the only site I have issues with, to my knowledge. Time to google fixes…

Try a different browser.

I tried Opera and no dice… I can view the site through a proxy called kproxy.com in both browsers, but I'm not sure what that means as far as fixes go.

Hmm, what error do you get when you try to visit the site? Does your request just time out? Since you can access the site through a proxy, it almost sounds like your IP-number has been banned, either by Xyston or maybe their host server. (???)

It just times out giving the generic error that either I'm not connected to the internet or the website is having problems. I read somewhere awhile ago that there was a problem with new browsers (particularly IE7) sending a string that was too long to be read by some servers. I ran the fix for that and it didn't cure the problem.

It does sound like my IP has been banned. This a new connection after my move and I didn't have this problem before that.

I admit that it's very rare, but if it's a ban, then usually it's the entire domain and not specific IP-numbers. I would suggest that you drop an email to Xyston and ask them.
