Has anyone out there converted a T-34/1941 ( usualy assumed to be the first model with the redesigned mantlet to go along with the new gun ) to the earlier model? |

No need to. BF gives (or used to give) one the option of mantlet with their T34 obr41 model. They used to have a separate model of the obr40, before figuring out how to kill two birds with one stone. |

They are available as code CD437 in the Command Decision range available from Skytrex, Old Glory, Warweb etc. BF don't currently make one. |

As Mark suggests, you may still find dealers with stocks of Battlefront's code SU050, which is likely to be the combined T-34 obr 1940/41. If it's *really* old stock, it might be just the obr 1940 (back when SU051 was the obr 1941). The Command Decision model is rough, but serviceable: picture Allen |

Thankyou all for the information. The CD version actualy looks pretty good, except the mantlet & barrel don't look right. The tube above the barrel needs to be flared in better to both the barrel and mantlet, and the barrel looks slightly too thin. I don't see a code 437 on the OG website. So as to make sure if I ordered BF SU052 it wouldn't have the 1940 mantlet/gun included in thr pack? |

Yep, you'd have to order CD437 from Skytrex. there are still a few codes that OG does not make. But I'd check with Teresa or the factory to be sure; they may have the master and have molded it, and just haven't listed it. BF's SU052 will not get you the right mantlet. Sorry. That gets you the late model obr 1941: link Allen |
