Back on November 30, my hobby blog was picked as Blogger's Blog of Note. I suppose it's meant to be a form of positive recognition, but I sure wish they hadn't picked me. I got 3000+ visitors on the day following the announcement. That might sound good, but none of these people have any interest in our hobby. Now my post comments are plagued with marketing spam, disingenuous followers looking to promote their unrelated blogs, and even insults. So, here's hoping that none of you suffer my fate. -Andrew ferrouslands.com |

Well, a few weeks on, and the spammers seem to have left. It was real annoying for while, though. I'll just have to moderate comments from now on. |
