OCP from Robocop. Mostly Dick Jones' division, but even Bob Morton's group transferred the best candidates for the Robocop program into the highest police fatality rate territories to get test subjects. Anyone remember the names of their business divisions? I think one was Defense Concepts. |

There is Veridian Dynamics from Better Off Ted . . . Not so much evil as overly profit-motivated and goal directed, which in the case of the lab techs is usually a positive thing . . . |

CC's 2nd link under "Others" (the Wikipedia article List of Fictional Comapnies) seems to cover all the ones I can think of. David Weber's Honor Harrington series has Manpower Unlimited, which openly deals in genetically-modified slaves. Tom Holt has used Kawaguchi Integrated Circuits (in a few of his novels – involved with everything from mass-produced genie lamps to commercial exploitation of afterlives. Some of his novels also feature a goblin-run company which offers, among other services, dragon-slaying services and general supernatural support. I always wanted to run a Cyberpunk 2.0.2.0. scenario involving raiding the McDonald's bioweapons division. |
