I am wondering if anyone can reccomend 15mm WW2 early war Poles? A scale that could complement battlefront miniatures would be ideal. thanks |

True North 15mm Poles are very nice. Now available through Old Glory. |

I just bought a few platoons worth of True North Poles (the 10th Mechanized Brigade figs). They are really nice. Some of the helmets are a little wonky here and there, but painted up they look great. The vehicles from True North are nice. Very very clean and crisp sculpts. I haven't painted mine yet but I think they are going to paint up just fine. They will stand out from the Battlefront vehicles, but since they don't make Polish vehicles, and you can get pretty much everything for a Polish force between their range and QRF, they will all look good together. I too have the True North Poles. Very nice figs. Some of the vehicles are difficult (so far impossible for me) to put together as there are no instructions. PLE08 Polski – Fiat 508 Staff Car, and no picture Who has the FOW army lists for 1939 poles? |

A FIAT 508 isn't awfully complex. When Battlefront made theirs, it looked like this: link If you want something larger-scale to go by (and note that the Polish version was left-hand drive): link EW lists under development (these are solid ones, not crazy-ass ones): 198.106.175.129/ewlists Allen |

Thanks for the feedback guys. My question about fiting in with BF is more with an eye to the future – when the (re) release their Poles I would like any i get now to fit in as well as possible.. From the looks of it the true north figures will be best for infantry ( i cant seem to find any others..) could they be interchangeable with French of the period??? in vehicles – I assume that BF once did have 1939 poles released?? So if anyone can give me a guide to which other manufacturer is most consistent with these BF models I would really appreciate it. |

"in vehicles – I assume that BF once did have 1939 poles released??" No, sorry. They have made other nationalities (French, Italians) with vehicles in common, though. Allen |

I do have some WW2 Poles from outpost games. I don't have any pics on my website but can send some pics to you if interested. I have infantry only in stock but can get vehicles if you need them. I do not know how they size up to BF. You can call me if you like my number is on my website miniaturearmies.webs.com David |

Our Polish infantry are the Outpost ones too – just checked our website and we haven't got images of them up (yet) either :-) Try looking at the Outpost Wargames Services website. They are a bit tricky to find (look under ranges, then the word 'gallery'), but they do have some images there. |
