I am just about to paint some 28mm cuirassiers. They are wearing gloves and the back of the hand and wrists are clearly armoured. I am assuming that the palms must be leather. Has anyone seen a photo of such gloves? Can you confirm that the palms are indeed leather? Or fabric? Or whatever? |

Yes, most gauntlets only cover the back of the hand and fingers. They are usually sewn to the glove.
