Does anyone know if there is a master index someplace for The Courier, Miniature Wargames, and/or Wargames Illustrated?

Thanks very much in advance!

I believe that the 100th issue of Miniature Wargames has an index for their first one hundred as an "anniversary" feature.

I didn't subscribe but only bought the odd issue at conventions, but didn't the Courier have index summaries fairly often, like (bi?) annually?

Addendum: I've just looked at No.100 September 1991 for MW. It has an index of the first 96 issues sorted by period or topic e.g. terrain building. It also indicates whether, back in '91, whether there were issues still in print.

Excellent, thanks for that pointer. I happen to have that issue so that will cover the first 100 issues of MW.

Now a reference for Courier and WI would be even better!

Yep. I wish there was one for Wargames Illustrated. I have the CDs but no way of knowing what's where.

Some years ago there was such a site called the Wargames Magazine Database:

Below is a link to the site I found using the Wayback Machine but unfortunately it appears to be no longer operational.

I recall issue 200 of Miniatures Wargames also had such an index.

Perhaps a group of intrepid wargamers could build such an index? This is something that has been on my mind for a while now. As a librarian it even is sort of work related. I would love to discuss this with anyone who might be interested (johnadkins AT ucwv DOT edu).

Cheers.
