Just to ask how do the WG plastic Legionnaires and Auxilliaries compare to each other ? I had heard that the Auxilliaries were bigger figures. Also how do the WG plastic and metal figures compare with each other ? Thanks |

Howdy,to me Warlord Games seem to do some odd things with scale; My gaming friend has their roman legionaries which fit in quite well with our old glory and other brands but I then purchased their Marcus Aurelius and he is positively tiny, like an old minifig 25mm. I also bought some Dromedaraii and they are huge- dwarfing anything else I have. The sculpts are nice but scale seems to be all over the place cheers |

The auxilia are vigger than the legionaries. I have both box sets to build and paint. To me it's not a problem, it might be to some. My personal assumption is that people are different heights and that auxilia, by their very definition are non citizens and volunteers in the most part. So I'm actually looking for a difference other than just equipment. Si |

Si, thats my take to. Romans are short auxilla aren't Romans the Guals or Germans thus are bigger than the the guys in the legions. I know the WG celts are bigger than the romans and I'm sure it's intentional. |

How do the Foundry Gallic Legionaries, the Wargames Factory Caesar's Legions and the Old Glory Caesar's Romans compare with the Warlord Games Romans? |

The Foundry figures aren't far off in scale. See the link below for a comparison I did for somebody: picture From L to R they are: Warlord Games, Foundry, BTD, GW (yes I know he's not a Roman! ;) ) |

There are two different sized Foundry ranges; the larger is around the size of the BTD figures. BTD figures might do nicely (if you can get them!). Simon |
