Hey all
Facebook is a bit like crack and many of us spend more time on it than we do working (I'm not the only one, am I?!)
As I deem it an excellent worldwide networking resource, there's now a group available to put players in touch the world over.
Join the group, post your reports, photos and comments and spread your love of the game!
Peace
S.

Next week, BKC on Twitter ;-)

Then Command Decision on myspace.

Personally I find Facebook a bit tedious.

I'm over 40, therefore I fear facebook. Must be all the rage, though, 'cause I'm the only one who is not on it, I think.

My Face book is now filled up with people I vaguely know talking about nothing at all -endlessly.
I think it's time for a big weed out!!

Taking this a little more seriously, I'm all for internet based information sharing between wargamers.

TMP is an excellent example as are fora such as the "Gentlemen's Wargames Parlour" link

Of course for things that are rules specific there are endless Yahoo Groups, which are easily set up but are not as user friendly when it comes to searching posts for themes and topics. As far as I am aware there isn't one for BKC but with its relationship to the Warmaster system I'll cite the Warmaster Ancients Yahoo Group, in case someone doesn't recognise the format. link

I'm not sure whether or not a facebook group offers advantages over the Yahoo Group. I'd be interested in opinions, not necessarily about how this works for BKC but in terms of wargame interest groups in general.

I think it is worth noting that BKC is one of those sets of rules that is supported by a structured forum covering the "Commander" series (ie BKC CWC and FWC). link That in itself might explain why no one has yet established a Yahoo Group.

Anyone have a used copy of BKC they want to sell? Condition unimportant if still usable. Warning: I won't join facebook to get it.

Huh. Wargames @ Nordalia is on Twitter, and Tweets all the articles as they're posted… twitter.com/Nordalia Also gets pretty much daily updates on what I personally am doing and some of what other former site authors are painting up.

Didn't realize people on a website could be so hostile to the web ;-).

Facebook I had to join for work, but for personal networking I prefer LinkedIn because it has more professionals on it and fewer idiots.

BKC has it's own forum. BKCII is just being released if you are interested

Sorry - only verified members can post on the forums.
