Here is part one of my photos – parts 2 and 3 will appear on my Cannonball blog in the next day or two.

Fellow TMPers Scott Washburn and John Mayer supposedly were among the marchers, but I missed seeing them.

Good photographs.

The woman does not seem too upset with the "pie thief."

Scott Mingus21 Nov 2009 5:37 p.m. PST

The "pie thief" had to clean up the street debris from the horses… not exactly a fun job.

Well, let me tell you that he didn't do a very good job, because I was several groups behind him, and let's just say that I will be cleaning my boots tomorrow.

Nice Photos Scott!

Have to say that some of those in the Union ranks look old enough remember the original action! :o)

Much like wargaming, the hobby of reenacting is getting grayer…

Yeah, saw quite a bit of long hair pony tail types with long beards, and WAY too many females in the ranks!
Seeing a guy with long gray hair in a ponytail with a Federal frock coat on is quite disconcerting!
Oh,and did I mention all the modern earrings I saw the men wearing??

Was in the old G'man all day ignoring the goings on outside! :-)

Yes, this old man was in the ranks as well. I thought the turnout was quite good and I enjoyed myself thoroughly, during and after the parade. Ran into a bunch of old friends and partook in O b' joyful at O'rorkes. Good times were had by all!

John, I missed seeing you this year.

Happy Thanksgiving!

"WAY too many females in the ranks!"

And that's a bad thing? :o)
