Hi folks,

I'm giving consideration to customizing my new 1942 Axis & Allies board game with 10mm/N Gauge infantry figures. It looks like most of the figures one would want are available from Minifigs, Pendraken, etc. However, I'm not aware of any manufacturer who makes ANZACs or Chinese. Does anyone know of a manufacturer who makes these figures, or figures which would make decent substitutes? Thanks in advance for your comments.

For what it's worth, a buddy of mine tackled this task with 1/72 scale plastic figures, and did a really good job. However, I've found I prefer working with metal figures, plus I really like Minifigs' N Gauge WWII figures in particular.

I did Chinese using Minifigs 12mm Afrika Korps figures when I made both Chinese and Japanese armies for that theatre.

Pendraken have some troops in the British range described as in Slouch hats. I have always thought these were troops equipped for the jungle – so may do for ANZACs.

Thanks, guys!
