Hi all, I once read an article(I thought in Wargames Illustrated) about making an African Baobob tree. I have been trying to find that article by sifting through all my WI's but can't find it. Now I am doubting my memory and thinking maybe it was an online article. If anyone is familiar with this article, whether in WI or online, and could let me know where I can find it I would be most grateful. Thank you, John |

I remember the article. It was either in Wargames Illustrated or Miniature Wargames 2-3 years ago. I'm sure I have it somewhere although finding it could be a challenge. |

Those babies can be HUGE! While having lots of linbs, there is very little foilage on them, even in their "blooming" season". Must also make the obligatory termite mound close by! />O Best Tom Dye GFI |

Seems right if using 28mm figs. Would be in the ballpark to be believeable. They ARE big! Best Tom Dye GFI |

The Schleich Baobab is quite nice. I saw it it in a store yesterday. I would have bought it myself if I had a reason (or the money) to do so. I think it would be just fine with 28mm figures. Like Tom said, they are big! Dave |

I'm thinking of making my own. Using toilet/kitchen rolls and painting them in flexibark. Wire/Miliput for the branches. Jeff |
