Well I went to Target today to get some exercise balls and well found some cool stuff in the Toy isle. I know there has been a few posts about this, but I thought these were outstanding models and had to post again. Perfect for 15mm. miniaturereview.com/Default.aspx I should have some comparison photos up tomorrow with some 15mm Figures. |

At 1/64 I would have thought they'd be to big for 15mm (1/100). I use some 1/87 models with my AK-47 stuff and that is a bit big to be honest. I look foward to the comparison shots. |

There is no way these are 1/64 IMO even though that is what they say they are selling them as. |

I never pay attention to the manufacturer's stated scale, it is almost never correct. I just go with what 'looks right'. Naturally this is a big problem when ordering online without seeing a comparison

Based on memory, the semi looked like it would work for 15mm. The regular cars, not so much. |

The semi is a different scale, yes. The cars are good for 28mm, not 15mm. Prince Rupert: you'd think so but everyone who buys the damned things either hasn't any cars within a light year of them to check or have assumed that all cars in the wasteland will magically swell to the size of an M1. Two lanes wide? People at the Warlands forums try to use them for 20mm but 15mm is too far. Sorry, but if you watch Top Gear and see how hard it is to move real cars through some of the places they go to, you will NOT understand why people after the collapse of society will spend the resources to make a Bradley-sized replica of a softop two-seat sports car. |

"Two lanes wide?" Worked for Rush in Red Barchetta. Jake |

There's no way the Jada 1/64 Battle Machines would work with 28mm figures. I have the full set of 12 from wave 1, and I have thousands of 28mm figures, and the two don't mix, not even close. They are larger than whatever Matchbox likes to claim their stuff is (1/87 perhaps). The two semis are noted as being 1/87 or very close to that. I've seen photos of 15mm figures with the semis, and those look right. But the rest of the cars? Perhaps 20mm (I don't own any figures in that scale to test with). Perhaps 25mm (true, nothing "heroic') is a small stretch. But not 28mm (which, lets face it, becomes 30-32mm plus the base they sit on. Of course, compatibility is in the eye of the beholder, so YMMV. Steve |

Thanks for posting that, I don't think the 28mm mini looks to bad next to the car TBH. I suppose true 25mm like GZG would work best with them. |

picture Of course I have raised the suspension on these slightly so they don't run aground on a discarded candy wrapper, but it doesn't go up far. picture picture picture |

Oh: chick by Hasslefree; green GI by Valiant, stated as 1/72 scale; tommy by unknown, possibly Airfix, also supposedly 1/72; metal GI from Battlefront. |

Those look like Death Race models. Fun movie. |

Yeah, great cars, but closer to 20mm in my opinion. Now the real question, what rules will you use? |

Now the real question, what rules will you use? Speed Rally. We're adding weapons and devices that are designed to be used with these vehicles. |
