I was thinking of ordering Brigade's FT-17 tank, but I've just noticed that Force of Arms makes one. The model and the postage are much cheaper, so is it as good as the Brigade one? |

I cannot comment on the Brigade Games model (of which I´ve only seen photos), but I recently purchased one of the FoA FT-17s (via RifRaf miniatures). It is an excellent model, with fine proportions and a good representation, detail-wise. My piece had some casting deficiencies, though, notable on one of the tracks and on the trenching tail. I didn´t really bother repairing it, but it might be an issue for some folks. Easy to assemble, though, but as said, the casting could be better, but it is a minor quibble. I´d still say that the price is justified (15 Pounds in my case); you do get value for money but have to invest some effort to make it perfect. Then again, I might just have been unlucky with an "end-of-mouldlife" casting. Two images of my painted model, alongside some RifRaf Spanish infantry. picture picture |

I have a couple of the FoA ones and found them well cast and easy to put together. Picture here: picture |
