This would make a nice mat – grid or no grid? I'm thinking about printing this at 60" x 24" without a grid. Look good on screen, the distortion isn't really noticeable

For me, two-sided. One with a square grid consisting only of very, very tiny dots at the corners of the square. The other side with no grid. |

That's awesome. Too bad I already have a mat that works just fine or I'd just have to make me one of these. |

The ridiculously large .tiff version (which I can't find right now, but really, it's big) is even more impressive. If only I knew of a place that could print it on a 6'x8' piece of black felt. Preferrably without costing an arm and a leg. |

ming31: Great idea. It's now up on my desktop. (I cropped out the NASA framing so it's all stars. A little stretched vertically, but you can't really tell.) "My computer! It's full of stars!"

That's a beautiful picture, Parzival. |

If you printed it out, how would you put the grid on it? |
| BillChuck | 22 Nov 2009 1:59 p.m. PST |
Dijit, I would edit a grid onto the image before printing. It's pretty easy in Gimp, should be just as easy in Photoshop. |
