Nothing new in someone posting about getting great service from Doug at EM4, but it's definitely deserved.
Service:
I just redeemed some CoZoChron credit, and I got my stuff in Chicago from England in about 2 weeks. Doug even answered an order status email inquiry on a Sunday! Shipping is more than from the USA, but it's much less than from other UK companies, and the product is so inexpensive to begin with, that it's no big problem.
Product:
I ordered two copies of the Combatzone rules, and a selection of EM4 figs. I purchased most of the scavengers, with a few savages, bikers and rebels that should work well as additional scavengers.
-The Rules. I'll be playing my first game with a friend in a couple of weeks, but upon readthrough they seem really straitforward and easy to understand. I've been looking for a simple set of rules for a while now, and if the game goes as well as I hope, this will be my new ruleset.
-The figs are really crisp! I really like the quality. As most folks have discovered, mold lines are virtually invisible, and some figs are already primed! As for style, the scavengers are a bit more raggedly dressed then I would prefer and have a few details that seem very 80's/90's. It's nothing a bit of filing and a few patches of GreenStuff can't fix. None of this is a problem, as I knew this before I purchased them and some conversions planned anyway.
Overall,
I'm very pleased with the product and service. This is my 2nd EM4 product purchase, but now that TinDictator is closed, it's my first direct purchase from EM4 across the pond. It will not be my last.
