I Played in the KlingonArmada game saturday afternoon: onlyWarlock, you've made a Convert! I think I still prefer A Call to Arms as 'my main game' but: for playing TOS Star Trek? just Great Stuff!! It really captures all of the Joy of original "pocket version" SFB, with none of the Commander/DoomsDay/Captain BS & headaches: I'll still use SFB for single ship/tournament engagements, But; Fleet actions? KlingonArmada, Hands Down!!! Thanks yet again for hosting such an elegant gametable! |

My son got involved in a fun little city based zombie game called Undead States of America. He played for about 4 hours. Never espected an 8 year old to have a longer attention span than I do. He wanted me to buy him the game. I thought about it and then considered that I would have to buy minis also and then the city. It would end up costing me $100 USD and lots of time to learn the rules and build the city. Although, I am starting to think that he may be able to do it himself pretty soon. So I decided to start slowly with him by purchasing the game "Zombies" in the flea market for $7 USD I got out of that one. But christmas is always around the corner and if he still wants it I don't see why not. Plus the author, Steve is a very good guy. His company is called Uber Goober Games. In case you want to check it out. |

Inari7, the Mat is the "Star Blazers" Hex map and I think it might be still available from Musashi Enterprises. Oh and Darby E, (OW Pulls up trouser leg and shows some hairy Man-ankle and waves it around flirtatiously). |

Klingon Armada played very well, FYI. Amazingly it still "Felt" like the good part of Star Fleet Battles (Someone even mentioned how the Damage Allocation had a streamlined "Mizia effect" feel to them) without all the bad boring stuff. Even the Drones were fast (I think we had 14 or so fired in the 4-hour game. We had 33 Ships on the table for that fight and it had basically resolved out in 4 hours with all novice players (Ths Klingons had 3 Ships left on the table). |

combatpainter, the wife played in the Uber Goober zombie game also, though I think her's was more the "battlefield" level game vs the city skirmish game. She liked it so much she insisted we buy the rules. Though I'm not sure she deserved them after what she did to me in the Scottish Reivers game. She stampeded the herd of cows right through my guys with way too much of a gleam in her eye while doing so. |

Has anyone made conversions for Movie and Series Trek ships? Thanks, John |

That would be pretty easy, many years ago when Starmada was in it's X edition I converted many of the Fasa ships to Starmada I had a pretty intresting formula. If you are interested shoot me a PM |

I also stopped by to gawk at the Terrans, Neo-Russians and aliens. By then, the three fleets were all having at it. The terrain and ships looked wonderful. The scratch-built stargate was excellent! Mike's work certainly encourages me to keep working on my ships and space terrain. Good job, Mike! |
