Well after a few years of playing ACW in 15mm I've finally jumped into 28mm, thanks to an impulse buy at my gaming store of two Perry boxsets.
I've got them both painted up and pictures posted on my blog. Take a look, any comments or criticism would be apreciated.

They look fine .. I'd hit it all with Testor's Dullcote to kill that shine but otherwise they're perfectly serviceable…

Yeah, I've been putting off the dullcote until we get some "nicer weather"… I think I just have some scarring from my horrible frosting experience of 2007…

Josiah, I think I experienced the same thing you did. Sprayed my figures with dullcote outside when it was a little cold, and they got a white dusting all over them. I am always careful about temperature now.
