Hi all! Just reminding you folks that I'll be running two Starmada games at the Millennium Con show tomorrow: Starmada: Admiralty Edition- The Dust Shoals of Samar The Neo Soviets have discovered and ancient relic of vastly superior technology in orbit around the dead world of Samar, in the Epsilon Bootis (Izar) system. A Hyperspace gate. They plan on reactivating it, after nearly a year of secret and delicate repair work and plumb its secrets to give them a huge leap over their adversaries, the Terran Republic! The Terran Republic, having caught wind of the imminent threat, have scrambled to deploy an attack fleet before the Gate can be energized. Plus one twist on the situation NO ONE is expecting
Starmada: Klingon Armada- Fleet Action This is a classic engagement between forces of the Klingon Empire and the United Federation of Planets during the General War using ADB/MJ12's new "Starmada:Klingon Armada" Ruleset. Dreadnaughts, Cruisers, Frigates and swarms of Escorts (Klingon Birds-of-Prey anyone?) Plenty of room for players! It's a fast playing, yet detailed system that is easy to learn. See you there! That sounds great! At what time will the THW girl be there? :) |

Truth is that when I lived in Florida in '06 I could nbever understand why they always coincided Milcon and Fall In. Why on the same day? Doesn't make much sense to me. What do I know. |

Combat painter, Why not? The Austin show serves the Southwest and Texas while the 'Fall In' show is a show for the East Coast crowd. In addition for several years in the past the St Louis group had a show at the same time as Fall In as well. I hope that Millinium has a great turn out. |

*sniffle* I can't make it this year. This makesm e very sad, as it's a great con. |
Volstagg | 06 Nov 2009 11:53 a.m. PST |
Hey- What time -exactly- will the Two Hour Spokesmodel (
and why does that sound so wrong?) be in attendance for autographs? My Family wants to go to the Austin Celtic Fest austincelts.org/festival and since we have only the one car, I need to schedule things a little more carefully
Only Warlock: Looking Forward to meeting you and playing in Saturday Nights Game!! Say:
does Anyone remember how to print out "TMP" namebadges? I think I'll go ahead in 'persona', as well as in person
. {edit} Found It!! TMP link |

You know, the company you work for isn't supposed to throw 'needs of the business' in your face at the last minute. Fortuantely I'm only out the event as I didn't have to do the reservations. Y'all (Texas!) have fun for me, okay? |

Truth is that when I lived in Florida in '06 I could nbever understand why they always coincided Milcon and Fall In. Why on the same day? Doesn't make much sense to me. What do I know. From when I was involved, other considerations were more important, including the price for the rooms, sporting and other events in town, etc. Fall In was just never on the radar as a concern, being a long way away. |

It's a conspiracy. I have wanted to go to this con for three years or so now, and each year
just can't do it. Dammit. |

Volstagg – Sorry, didn't see your post until after the con. |

Ed- No Problem: I was the guy with the Cane and pink cap and the Silver Pen who had you autograph my Books ; I had her Autograph "Dead Heat"\ (oddly; she didn't sign it: "Hey! My Eyes are Up Here!!" as I suggested
Mike/Only Warlock-> Thanks for that Great Game of Klingon Armada!!! I haven't played SFB with my GodSon (the Fed guy who sat on your right) since 1992, but I do believe we'll be picking up some Klingon Action, soon! (
as soon as I order some of those Bergstrom "Bird of Prey"s Also-> I plan on PM-ing you on a Wii Nintendo thought: My seven year old son has been playing the Flight Simulator from Wii-Sports Resort non-stop since we acquired it: Any chance of a WWii BiPlane simulator for Wii? It would -really- be Something to see a Wii "Wings of War", or (even Better!) Wii 'Ace of Aces', Wii "Check Yer Six"etc etc, et al Thanks again for a Great Con, Guys!!! I REALLY enjoyed myself this year!

Chip, Johnnie, Ian, Richard and all the others that helped make Mil-Con 12 possible, THANKS for a great Convention! My son and I had a great time
you guys do such a great job in coordinating the events and helping get all of us GM's and players sorted out
makes the long drive worth it! Wish we were closer so that we could see more of you guys. Congrats to Jim and the Waco Chapter in taking the Cup again this year. Your Waterloo layout was most impressive! The scale, map layout and attention to detail were outstanding and, IMHO, made for a world class gaming event. To the "Shockley's Village" Players, you guys were absolutely the best! I very much enjoyed meeting and/or gaming with you guys. Mark, Ed, Ray, Bob (Friday Night) and Don, John, Stephen and Bobby (Sat Morn), you guys absolutely made the weekend for me. We've got some great gamers in the Great State of Texas
look forward to next year! Faron |

Due to some 'issues' I almost missed Millenniumcon this year, but decided to make a mad dash from Dallas to Austin and back in the same day to play in Jim's Waterloo. It was worth the trip. Here are photos of that great game. link |

Mega Kudos to the LSHM staff that runs MillenniumCon!! It was a great venue and seemed to run smoothly, Once Again. The gaming crowd and the vendor crowd were all very cool and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. A big Shout Out to Richard for being flexible enough to move the DBA tourney to a very good room with great lighting and A/C, thank you very much. Looking forward to next year already!! If you havent been to MillenniumCon, I suggest you try to fit it into your gaming convention schedule for 2010, you will have a good time. cya |
