I think that these excellent free rules (1 base = 1 btg)are not more available on the web? I tried the link on freewargamesrules.co.uk but it's dead. Did they migrate to another website? Is the author here? I could host them in my website if he wants. |

Looks like they died when Geocities went. That is a shame. IIRC they were written by Norman Mackenzie, but I don't know if he hangs out here. The freewargames link just goes to a dead geocities site. |

They are out there on a number of sites as well as still on freewargamesrules.com.uk (see: PDF link PDF link PDF link There are a number of these rules covering the various parts of the war, but some are still in Italian and have not been translated: PDF link PDF link PDF link PDF link A number of others are also out there on various sites, including one for the Italians adventures in Albania and France 1940. Yes, but those are the Italian copies, not the original game. |

I'd suggest that someone upload a copy of "Kiss Rommel" to Pete so he can host it on freewargames. Dan |

"I'd suggest that someone upload a copy of "Kiss Rommel" to Pete so he can host it on freewargames." Pete has already fixed it. The link from freewargamesrules now points to the copy on the Wayback Machine (www.archive.org). |

As Mike said I have posted a copy on the Wayback Machine, I know I have the files saved somwhere safe on one of many Hard Drives of DVDs so when I have time I will host a copy on my site. There's no way we can let these rules disappear from the Web! |

Ok solved, Pete Jones of freewargamesrules has another link link and he has a copy stored in case it disappears again btw, what kind of invaluable resource for wargaming is that man? |

Thanks Pete. Life without KISS Rommel? Unthinkable! I ran Operation Bagration with it (northern arm) earlier this year. Worked rather well, especially 6th Panzer Divs death ride as it tried to hold back the tide. |

Okay I've posted the rules onto my site now so if the webarchive link disappears they are safe for future. Direct link is: link |
