Whose here, beside me, is waiting for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2? I been craving this game for almost a year now. The trailer look awesome! modernwarfare2.com I almost never buy video game new too expensive, all way used. But this game I will make a exception. |

Love the first game, and will probably love the next. But it seems to have had a lot of bad press this past week. I'll wait for the reviews to get out. link |

Interesting. I actually broke down and purchased a gaming mag for the maps in MW2. I figured it would make a good basis for a table layout for minis gaming. I really enjoyed the maps in MW and found they work well for modern minis skirmish games. |

I really liked the first game, but after a couple of plays of the story mode, it's now gathering dust on my shelf. I was hoping MW2 would have an offline skirmish option, like the one in Killzone 2, but I don't think it has. Shame that. |

It's all about online play with the COD series. Story mode is fun, but the real depth is online multiplayer. |

Midnight launch for me and nerd flu the next day. Most people at my work are taking the day off. |

Although I didn't plan my vacation around it, I'll be off work all next week. Might have to pick up a copy. |

Yay! Did anyone else get the edition w/the night googles? PS: Cufflink- It does have an offline co-op (non-story) mode. |

I was really looking forward to it, but I read today that on the PC version, they have changed how you go about multiplayer. Rather then how most games work on PC's for MP, ie dedicated servers, clan servers etc etc, they have now made it similar to the console versions – you go to play online, and get matched to a game – you can't browse and choose one. I'm hoping it might still be possible to use something like Hamachi and create a vlan so you all play online via a lan game, but this has dampened my enthusiasm somewhat. I may now wait until it's cheaper (just to play the excellent solo campaign) and/or they cave in and put back in proper multi-player connectivity. |
