I might be wrong, yet I am very positive that Sardinian infantry never wore red pants, unlike the French. I believe dark blue or grey should be the correct color.

You are correct…but the labelling is just the minis when unpainted…..painted in this case as French not Sardinian……all this talk of the Crimea and the arrival of my copt of BP has me seriusoly thinking about getting into this period. I have always had a wish to do the Crimea but have concentrated on Napoleonics…..maybe an order of some Guards to start things off!
